Fundamentals Of Piano Theory Prep
Fundamentals of Piano Theory is a graded piano theory series that goes far beyond traditional method book materials. In addition to theory, the books include music history, sight reading, and ear training. Review tests are presented using examples taken from the literature students are performing. Analysis and practice drills follow theory requirements commonly required for state examinations. The levels correlate with the levels of the Piano Repertoire books in the Neil a. Kjos Piano Library.

With a teaching experience spanning almost 30 years and three different continents, I have taught in music schools and colleges as well as given private lessons to children and adults of every level. I am a member of the MTAC (Music Teachers’ Association of California), which means all my students are eligible to take Certificate of Merit tests, a great way to assess progress. I am dedicated to teaching students the essentials of piano performance, reading music, and discovering the joy of making music. Private lessons ensure that each student has my undivided attention and can therefore progress at a level suited to his/her needs.
