We hope this message finds you and your family well!
At PV Music House, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to make sure that your music journey continues smoothly, despite the challenges presented by the ongoing US–China trade situation. Thanks to the creative efforts of our team and new partnerships we've established, we are very optimistic about the future. In fact, we’re excited to be introducing even cooler and better instruments into our lineup!
However, due to unavoidable increases in replacement costs for many rental, step-up, and professional instruments, we will be introducing a rental rate adjustment starting Monday, July 14, 2025.
We highly encourage all families who currently have rental instruments at the 2024–2025 pricing to keep their rentals through the summer. By doing so, you'll lock in your current lower monthly rental rate and avoid the upcoming price increases. It's a simple way to save while keeping your child’s musical momentum going strong!
We understand that some families may consider purchasing instruments online, particularly from discount sellers like Amazon. While it can seem like a convenient option, our experience has shown that many of these lower-priced instruments are unplayable or difficult to repair, often leading to disappointment for young musicians. Our expert repair team can perform incredible work, but frequently, the cost to repair these instruments exceeds the value of the initial purchase.
If you are considering purchasing a used Yamaha or another major brand, we are more than happy to help! We strongly recommend bringing it to our repair shop well before the summer rush. From June through September, our shop is extremely busy preparing our rental fleet, and turnaround times will be longer than usual.
