PV Music House is proud to introduce its first-ever Marching Band — an exciting new ensemble program for intermediate school students in grades 6–8, launching Fall 2026.

Designed for wind instrumentalists of all experience levels (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and more), the PV Music House Marching Band gives students the opportunity to grow as musicians and performers in a structured, supportive, and energizing group setting. No prior marching experience is required.

After this initial Kickoff meeting, qualified students will be signed up for a monthly fee of $210 starting in September.

What's Included Students participate in a weekly Thursday ensemble class from 3:45–5:00 PM, where the group develops marching fundamentals, musical repertoire, and performance skills together. In addition, each student takes weekly private lessons with a PV Music House instructor to build the individual technique and musicianship that supports the ensemble. Private lesson rates start at approximately $45 per 30-minute session and vary by instructor.

Earn PE Credit PV Music House is an approved Independent Study PE (ISPE) provider through the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District. Eligible students in grades 6–8 can fulfill their entire year's PE requirement through participation in this program — no traditional PE class needed. Families will apply through the PVPUSD ISPE portal between March 30 and August 5, 2026.

Students Will:

• Develop marching technique and ensemble performance skills
• Perform at community events and special showcases throughout the season
• Build confidence, discipline, and teamwork
• Earn school PE credit through the district-approved ISPE program
• Prepare for future high school marching band opportunities
