FA26: Group Piano Foundations Ages 9-12 [Tues 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm] 9/15 - 11/17

Group Piano — Ages 9-12

Designed specifically for 9-to-12-year-olds, this group piano class gives kids the structure of private lessons with the energy and motivation of learning alongside friends. Small class sizes mean every student gets individual attention from the instructor, while the group format keeps things social, engaging, and less intimidating than a one-on-one setting can feel at this age.

Students will learn to read music, develop proper hand position and technique, build finger independence, and play their first songs — all while developing the confidence that comes from performing and problem-solving with peers. This class is a great fit for beginners with no prior piano experience, as well as kids who've dabbled but want a more structured foundation.

By the end of the session, students will have a solid grasp of note reading, basic music theory, and a small repertoire of songs they're proud to play — setting them up well for private lessons or continued group study.

No prior musical experience required. All materials provided/available at PV Music House.
