Where music meets magic—one note at a time!
Get ready for a musical adventure! In this fun and beginner-friendly camp, young musicians will learn to play the recorder while exploring the building blocks of music. Campers will discover how to read notes, play simple songs, and make music with friends through games, rhythm activities, and creative play.
No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and love of sound! By the end of the week, your child will have a mini concert under their belt and a big smile on their face.

| Instructor Bio: | Biography Violist Andrew Goo is a versatile performer and teacher, whose goal is to create the kind of catharsis and joy that can only come from the performance and study of music. His preferred venues are those that aren’t separated by a stage, allowing the performance to connect on a more personal level with his audience. He has collaborated with artists across different disciplines to create new experiences in combining film and music. Andrew has performed with professional ensembles such as the Asia America Symphony Orchestra, and the David Benoit Trio. He has performed at venues across the US, such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Symphony Hall in Boston. He has performed in a studio recording at Ocean Way Studios in Los Angeles. In Boston, Andrew worked with several photographers to create a project that combined the scenery of Boston’s Cityscape with the sounds of the Bach Cello Suites. Andrew has worked as a teacher for members of the Boston Youth Philharmonic Orchestra as part a program designed to help young musicians propel their musical talents and abilities, and has experience as a teacher’s assistant in the Rancho Palos Verdes Area. His teaching philosophy involves allowing the students to better know their body and how it moves in order to facilitate an ease of movement. Andrew Goo is currently working as a teacher for violin and viola at PV Music House. He is also a violist in the San Luis Obispo Symphony Orchestra. Andrew received his GPD and Masters in Viola Performance at Peabody Conservatory under the tutelage of Victoria Chiang. He received his Bachelors at Boston University while studying under Karen Ritscher and Daniel Dona. Over his career, Andrew has gone to many music festivals including Meadowmount School of Music, Fresno Opera and Orchestra Summer Academy, and the Wintergreen Summer Music Academy. |
