Beginning Group Piano (Ages 7–12)
Piano Adventures Level 1
Designed for students with little to no prior piano experience, this beginning group piano class uses the trusted Piano Adventures method to build strong musical skills in a fun, structured, and encouraging environment.
Students will learn:
-
Proper piano posture and hand position
-
Note reading and rhythm fundamentals
-
Playing with both hands at the piano
-
Musical expression, dynamics, and articulation
-
Listening skills and ensemble awareness
Classes incorporate games, movement, creative activities, and group playing to keep students engaged while reinforcing musical concepts. Learning in a group helps students stay motivated, build confidence, and experience the joy of making music together.
This class provides an excellent foundation for continued piano study and prepares students for private lessons or advanced group classes. A performance opportunity at The PV Music House Recital Series helps students celebrate their progress and build stage confidence.
