Early Childhood - From birth to age 5
This is prime time for human development. Making music with your child at such an early age is a multi-sensory activity that contributes immensely to a child's growth. Among other benefits, music learning supports the development of motor control, brain and bodily coordination, communication and language, and even the ability for a child to express and manage their emotions. The benefits of music in child and adult human development are exponential and become increasingly apparent as the child grows older and continues to gain more exposure. Our Early Childhood Music program was founded with the belief that all children are born with innate musical gifts. Our mission is to nurture and develop these musical skills, thus enabling children to continue making and enjoying music throughout their lives. We achieve this through various Orff and Kodaly methods, including chanting and singing, instrument play, and creative and rhythmic movement. The goals of our program are:
to develop a sense of rhythm,
to develop a singing voice,
to develop listening skills,
to enable creative and expressive movement,
to empower parents to use music to foster their child's emotional, physical, cognitive, and social growth,
and to build the foundation for subsequent musical education and participation.
Music for Little Mozarts
PV Music House's piano program for the very young child (ages 4-6) teaches the fundamentals of playing piano in the ways in which children learn best: through singing and moving. Students develop listening and reading skills, as well as improvisation, technique, and ensemble playing. Repertoire includes contemporary and classical literature, familiar childhood songs, and popular soundtracks. Our program is based on "Music for Little Mozarts," an award-winning series from Alfred Publishing Company, supplemented by other ensemble and repertoire materials.
Piano Adventures

Students learn to read music through solo and ensemble repertoire consisting of contemporary and classical literature, familiar childhood songs, and popular soundtrack. Our program is based on the acclaimed Faber Piano Adventures and Alfred's Premier series, supplemented by theory, ensemble, and repertoire materials.
